JUST LIKE NEW! Completing Boat Maintenance & Repairs on Our 2 YO PERFORMANCE SAILING CATAMARAN Ep 74

This week the boat work continues at Linton Bay Marina in Panama. We have a couple projects to wrap up, like installing a new door on the nacelle inspection panel. When we hauled the boat we saw the door had been ripped off so we had a new one made and changed the design to a full flush mount door. The inspection door on the diesel tank needs to be closed which should be easy. Key word is “should”. Then we’ll tackle the rudder gudgeons and their brackets. Lastly, we’ll install line cutters on the props. A huge thank you to everyone at Linton Bay Marina who helped us out especially Jose aka Cheo. When we first arrived we weren’t totally at ease, but now feel a part of the community. Our friend even recently told us we look like locals, lol. But now we are ready to move on. Unfortunately, we still have to figure out a solution for our main sail because the sail loft at Shelter Bay didn’t have the piece to repair it properly. Join us next week to see what happens!
