NO AUTOPILOT No Problem - SAILING the SEAWIND 1600 Catamaran RI to P town | Harbors Unknown Ep 38

This week we’re leaving Newport, destination Maine coast. Our autopilot isn’t working so we’re sailing our catamaran old school the entire way. First stop Hadley Harbor at the beginning of Cape Cod. Then on to Provincetown via the Cape Cod canal, where we explore this gem of a town and have our first encounter with gray seals, a favorite snack for the famed great white shark. As a couple, catamaran sailing without an autopilot is not an easy feat. We have to sail conservatively, stay alert, and communicate extremely well. It's a challenge, but also a great learning opportunity. So we're taking it head on for the remainder of the summer on our Seawind 1600 catamaran.
