Sailing Newport Rhode Island - Land of America's Cup, Epic Views + Fab Food | Harbors Unknown Ep. 34

Newport. The City by the Sea on Aquidneck Island in the smallest state in the union, Rhode Island. The self-proclaimed sailing capital of the world. Where the wealthy built their summer “cottages” in the latter half of the nineteenth century. And where thousands flock every summer to tour said “cottages”, meander down the iconic Cliff Walk along the coast, soak up the salty air during a sail on an America’s Cup yacht, eat endless amounts of seafood, especially clams or quahogs, the term for the larger variety, and stroll the cobblestone wharfs. This week we're back in Kristin's home state, where Fabio lived for almost 15 years and where we got engaged, Newport. And we're sharing our favorite things to do in this picturesque New England town. The Cliff Walk, brunch at Castle Hill Inn, watching a New York Yacht Club sailing regatta, sailing on Intrepid, an America's Cup Yacht, and enjoying a delicious dinner at the famed Black Pearl restaurant.
