Boat Projects Begin! Fixing the Rudder on our Seawind 1600 Catamaran | Harbors Unknown Ep. 21

We hit bottom. We’re not proud of it but if you’re in a room full of sailors and one claims they never hit bottom they’re either lying or they never leave the dock. Our rudder was pushed up and the metal pin worked really hard to keep it in place and was dragged down through the board. There was damage in a couple other places so our friend Pablo taught us how to fix it. Pablo is the owner of Southern Cross Boat Works Shrink Wrap & Scaffolding https://scaffoldsandshrinkwrapservices.com/, sailed for many years and has worked on boats throughout his life. He shared many tips with us and the experience was invaluable. Thank you Pablo!
