DON'T DO THIS When Planning a Sailing Passage on a Catamaran | Harbors Unknown Ep. 46

We’re leaving the bucolic waters of The Basin in Casco Bay, sailing our Seawind 1600 catamaran ultimately to Annapolis where we’ll have some boat work done to get Wanderlust ready for the Annapolis Sailboat Show. We're planning to make a number of stops along the way because we’re still waiting for our new autopilot RAM, which we hope will be delivered to Newport, Rhode Island. We learned once again it never pays to be on any other schedule except for Mother Nature’s as we sail upwind and against current, but then were treated to a beautiful downwind sail to the Cape Cod Canal, and were greeted by some of the most stunning race boats as we pass through Narragansett Bay.
